Tell us a little about what you do and why you love it?
I’m a photographer specialising in landscapes. I love travelling and always take my camera with me wherever I go. In recent years I have had the opportunity to travel to places like Dubai, Italy, Sweden and Copenhagen and see some incredible sights but, in my opinion, there is no comparison to the stunning landscapes of Dumfries and Galloway.
What makes Dumfries and Galloway special to you?
One of my favourite things about Dumfries and Galloway, and Britain in general, is its ability to show you four seasons in one day. You never know what the weather is going to do and that can completely change a landscape.
What projects are you involved in right now?
I have recently had exhibitions at Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries, Dryfesdale Lodge in Lockerbie and The Nail Factory in Dalbeattie.
Hopes, ambitions or plans for 2015?
I hope to expand my portfolio by visiting more stunning locations in and around Dumfries and Galloway.
Have you always been in this role – or have you/do you do anything else?
Photography is my hobby and passion. My day job is also very creative as I work in the West10 Entertainment department within the BDS Group in Dumfries writing film synopses.
If we asked a friend to tell us something surprising about you, what would they say?
I am obsessively tidy!
