21st Feb to 19th March More information here Joan McAlpine MSP has written to the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs to encourage that representation be made to the UK Government for the ratification of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and for the dedication of Scottish Government resources towards ICH in Scotland.

The 39th Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival takes place between 25 May and 3 June this year and the new programme will be marked on 15th March at the Theatre Royal, Dumfries, with a concert by the Scottish Ensemble and two of Scotland's finest traditional musicians: Chris Stout and Catriona McKay.
