At this time The Scottish Youth Film Festival are obviously hindered in their normal work. A charity who engage directly with young people - activities that are currently impossible.
To that end they are launching a new film competition in association with the National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive and are challenging young people to turn their creativity to the current situation by making a film with the theme of “Home”. Click here for more information.

The second in the series is specifically targeted at early to mid-stage creatives (just graduated or established between 1-3 years - or as a refresher course for someone returning to selling work). Next Level events are a series of professional development Webinar sessions designed with creative practitioners in mind. Based upon feedback and training requests from our DGU members, the events will be facilitated by the Creatives Unlimited team. Led by experienced professionals in each subject area from within and outwith the region, creative practitioners can register for one – or as many as they are interested in. The first webinar took place on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 and was very well received with a great number of attendees. Watch this space for further details of the series to be unveiled.
