Bunbury Banter Young Playwrights' Programme

In partnership with the Theatre Royal Dumfries and Peter Pan Moat Brae and supported by the Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland and Dumfries And Galloway Arts Festival, Bunbury Banter Theatre Company is looking for young people aged between 18-25 years, who are from or based in Dumfries and Galloway, and are interested in writing. If anyone younger is interested, then an application would be considered. Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival is the only region wide performing arts organisation in Dumfries & Galloway. The 10-day festival in May, is the largest rural performing arts festival in Scotland bringing performances to audiences in some of the most remote areas of the UK. The commissions are open to individuals and companies from Dumfries & Galloway. We are open to a wide range of outcomes, compatible with the budget. The finished work could include theatre, dance, spoken word, music, comedy and multidisciplinary performance.
