Exhibitions
CAMPLE LINE
Visit CAMPLE LINE, to see two great exhibitions from painter/sculptor Rowan Mace, and another from Dumfries born painter Amy Winstanley. Rowan Mace, Time’s light 8 July – 10 September 2023 “Time’s light builds upon Rowan’s recent solo exhibitions at Stallan-Brand in Glasgow and Zembla near Hawick (both 2021), and reflects a remarkably sustained investigation of structure, colour and light that encompasses rigour, balance and formal language alongside playfulness, intimacy and precarity.” |

Amy Winstanley, Slim glimpses 8 July – 10 September 2023 “The body of work included in Slim glimpses is rich in allusions to foliage, trees, clouds, fields, sunny orbs, hills and water. Amy grew up in Dalry in rural Dumfries and Galloway, and she spent her childhood immersed in the countryside. A profound sense of connectedness to the natural world, in turn, pervades her work.” For more information about these two exhibitions, click below. |
