Innovate Create Cultivate is a simple way for established and emerging creative practitioners living and working in Dumfries and Galloway to apply for up to £750 to explore, develop and further their creative practice.
PURPOSE – WHAT WE WANT TO SUPPORT
The purpose of this fund is to enable creative practitioners to:
- Research and develop their practice;
- Generate bold new ideas;
- Test new ideas or creative direction;
- Create new work(s) of high quality;
- Enhance and/or learn new skills;
- Inspire audiences and communities;
- Contribute to the region’s economy.
The 2019/2020 Innovate Create Cultivate fund is now closed.
This year saw an unprecedented amount of requests for applications and, as expected, the fund has been expended rapidly. The quality of applications was exceptional and DGU are very proud to be helping the region's talent further develop and grow. The table of funded projects has been updated with this year's recipients and you can now DOWNLOAD THE TABLE HERE.
Since 2017, ICC has funded 42 projects across Dumfries and Galloway - with more than £26,000 being spent on a diverse range of creative projects across several art-forms, including performance art, literature, music and multi art form.
