DGU commissioned The Articulate Cultural Trust to develop a Youth Arts Framework for Dumfries and Galloway, to better understand current provision and to seek recommendations to help make youth arts in the region the best that it can be.

A call to action
At DGU's Creative Routes Conference 2018, 17 year old Abby Gray, a member of the National Youth Arts Advisory Group, called on Dumfries and Galloway’s creative practitioners and organisations to pledge their support for the region’s youth arts sector by signing up to the report’s key findings and six recommendations.
