Concern from Scottish Parliament over the future of instrumental music tuition in Scottish schools22/1/2019
Following its enquiry into music instrument tuition in Scottish state schools, the Scottish Parliament's Education and Skills Committee has now published its report 'A Note of Concern: The Future of Instrumental Music Tuition in Schools'.
This report sets out a range of recommendations. These are mostly related to councils making sure that their services are inclusive, transparent and fair. The report also recommends that SQA qualification-related tuition should comply with guidelines. The report is available to download from the Scottish Parliament. Comments are closed.
